The aim of the conference is to integrate the milieux of art historians, conservators, and artists, as well as researchers representing sciences, with a view to recreating the artist's technique and workshop, with particular emphasis on the following topics: artistic materials and techniques, evolution of the creative process and work implementation, organization of work, workshop equipment and accessories necessary in the creative process, the characteristics of individual workshops, artistic treatises, and artistic practice.
We would like to invite especially art and culture historians, conservators, and artists to take part in the conference.
Proposals for topics of papers, together with one-page abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to the address: firstname.lastname@example.org, by September 5, 2019.
The conference fee is PLN 350.00. The collected funds will cover both direct organizational costs and the preparation of post-conference proceedings. The participants will cover the costs of their own transport and accommodation.
Confirmations of acceptance of applications and further organizational information will be sent by 20 September 2019.
The texts, edited in accordance with the publishing guidelines, will be published subject to a positive opinion provided by the editors and reviewers.
