Vladimír Boudník was one of the key protagonists of post-war Czech abstract art. The exhibition introduces the artist's basic principles and approaches to experimental graphics; at the same time, it compares Boudník's output to contemporary art. Apart from Vladimír Boudník's artworks, there will be those by Jiří Černický, Jiří Skála, Pavel Mrkus, Matěj Al-Ali and Filip Turek and J. H. Kocman. One of the show's points of departure is a commemoration of Boudník's exhibition prepared by Jiří Valoch for the Brno House of Arts in 1967. The exhibition will also involve archive material such as correspondence and photographs.
