The exhibition presents one of the founding personalities of Czech modern art, Miloš Jiránek, a painter, a literary writer, an art critic, and an organizer of the artistic life of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. In his extensive work of art influenced by French Impressionism and the following modern trends, Jiránek strived for a new approach, especially figural painting, as well as portraiture, landscape painting and themes of everyday life.
