The exhibition of Drawings and Graphics will present two different representations of the basic Christian Lord's Prayer which belongs to important works in the oeuvre of sculptor František Bílek and the painter Alfons Mucha. František Bílek was working on his first author's book, Otčenáš, in 1900, and with a preface to Otokar Březina, he published it a year later. Alfonsa Mucha's Lord's Prayer was published in Paris in 1899 and at the same time in a limited number also in Prague by publisher Bedřich Kočí. The selection of the exhibits shows the original invention of both authors, which enabled them to create impressive mystical parables, aimed at the moral rebirth of man.
